Packages that have not been consumed are displayed as empty circles next to other team's lines on the timeline. When you’re satisfied that you understand the other team’s package and feel that your team can absorb the new changes, you can consume a package.Įxpand the timeline, and click the node that represents the relevant unconsumed package. See the Timeline Nodes topic for more information. It may be useful to explore other team's packages, before you choose to consume them. Packages are displayed on the package timeline according to their status and indicate how much of each package has been consumed by your team. If you’ve linked into the other team’s model in the Document Management Consumed folder, the links will be updated as well. You’ll see the latest model from that team in your Project Model. The goal is not to own or take responsibility for this package, but rather to see it combined together with your work and with all other teams’ work. Consume a Package from Another TeamĬonsuming a package means that you’ve brought another team’s package into your environment. Note: You can share your package after the steps above by clicking Share, entering a Package name and clicking Share.
